At a Barnes and Noble, that's where you would rarely see Aundrea Davis but today was an exception. She had research to do that wouldn't work at home. Her computer crashed, again, weird right you would think that it didn't like her or something. Oh well, Aundrea scrunched up her nose in disgust as she walked through the doors to the Barnes and Noble that one like Aundrea would rarely step foot in.
It wasn't that Aundrea was afraid of it, more like she was disgusted by it. Who would want to go to a store full of books? Her feelings were kind of like the ones of the people in the town in the book Farenheit 451 by Ray Bradbury. They hated books so they burned them. Although, Aundrea would never burn books that would be mean.
Drea sighed and hitched her purse higher on her shoulder and walked to the research section. She was trying to find a book about colleges and what the best ones were. After all, she was a senior and was graduating in only a matter of months. As she walked to the shelves she noticed there were people just sitting in that store reading in a chair. You would think they had nothing better to do than sit and read a book.
You have got to be kidding me Aundrea thought with a look of disgust as she passed the people she thought to be weird. She sighed and continued on her way to the shelves. Upon reaching them, she noticed a not too thin but not too thick book about the colleges in the US that were the best. It seemed okay to her so she brought it to the checkout counter and got out her credit card.
Aundrea paid for her book and walked over to the mini-starbucks. After this trip, she deserved to reward herself with something suit and maybe a shopping spree later.
