Caleb looked over his right shoulder, then his left, checking for any sign of his boss. Assuming the stout little man was residing comfortably in his office, Cal reached down for the headphones and slipped the cool cushions over his ears. His finger hesitated over the different selection keys, having only time for about one song before his break was officially over. Finally, his index finger touched down on the circular piece of plastic, pushing it down, preparing his mind to be filled with the sweet sounds of classic jazz.
His head nodded along to the beat slightly, his eyes closed. There was really nothing like music. But of course there was love, which in his eyes came pretty close. Caleb re-opened his eyes when he heard someone clear their throat. Assuming it was his boss, the teen whipped around quickly, only to see it was an elderly man blowing his nose. Cal nodded to him, then turned back around to finish his song.
'That was close,' He thought as the song came to an end, and the computer screen returned to the Barnes and Noble label, and home page.
Caleb sighed, and removed the comfortable headphones from around his ears, returning them to the small hook on the kiosk. His large chocolate hues glanced down at the watch resting on his wrist, only displaying that his break had officially ended. The teen moved over to an aisle of books where an entire tray of new books needed to be put away. He sighed, and began the slow process while carefully examining the titles as each one was slid snugly in between two others.

Naturally, Miss Jillian Onassis was already stationed in Barnes and Noble. It was practically her home away from home. It was a wonder she didn't actually work there. After all, she spent enough time wandering around through the aisles and books while sipping on endless venti sized portions of unsweetened iced coffee. Like any other, today was no different.
Jillian sauntered quietly through the walls of books set up with her coffee in one hand and the latest JFK conspiracy book grasped in the other. She wasn't dressed to kill, just wearing a pair of Lauren by Ralph Lauren khaki colored chinos paired with a Lauren by Ralph Lauren classic polo shirt in Greenwich blue with may blue embroidery. A simple dark brown leather belt was buckled around her waist to keep her pants from falling down her slender frame and a matching khaki colored tote with dark brown accents was slung over her shoulder. She pretty much looked like a walking advertisement for Ralph Lauren. But since when is that anything new?
Turning a corner, her eyes set upon Caleb and a small smirk came over her face as she watched him stock books as she approached. "Hey stranger." she said as she lightly bumped into him, playfully of course. "Having fun?" she asked, now being a bit sarcastic. Stocking books? Definitely could not be fun, right?

A sweet voice filled his head, as Caleb turned his attention towards the astonishingly lovely Jillian Onassis. "Hello," He greeted back with a big somewhat goofy grin. The teen left what he was doing a moment to lean over and kiss her cheek softly in his own special sort of greeting. He came back to his former position, and leant comfortably and lightly against the shelf crossing his arms over his chest. "Loads," He replied with a light breathy laugh.
"So Ms. What're you up to today?" Cal posed curiously, taking his weight off the shelf to slide a few more books into their rightful place just incase his boss whipped his balding head around the corner to scoff, and intrude upon their conversation. Caleb's gaze returned to her again, his lips curving into one of those taken smiles. She was just.. lovely. There were times, of course when they didn't get along, or when they fought. But right now certainly wasn't one of those times, and Caleb found himself loving her more and more with the days they'd managed to agree on at least several things.

Jillian's smile broadened for just a second when Caleb kissed her cheek. She was such a hopeless romantic. It was almost pathetic. Between her parents and her friends, she wasn't sure that she's ever witnessed a real functional relationship. Her parents were...well, let's not go there. It was no secret that Jillian's parents had quite possibly the worst relationship ever documented. Growing up, she never really liked either of them. But now that they are divorced and she lives with her father, she's turned into a Daddy's girl. She's pretty sure that her mother never had interest in her children. She hardly sees her.
"Oh, I'm just...hanging out." she replied. "This is a great place to go if you want to escape the idiots of the outside world. Not to mention, the new JFK book just came in today." she added, holding up the hardcover book in her hand to show Caleb. As she did so, she took a small sip from the straw of her rather large iced coffee.
"So when do you get off work?" she asked. Jillian wasn't overly thrilled about Caleb having a job and working all of the time. Jillian didn't have a job nor did she plan on getting one until after college. It would just get in the way of everything. How in the world would she be able to balance school and her social life if there was a job in the picture too? She wouldn't be able too. So a job was just out of the question. Plus, her father gave her all the money she'd ever need for the time being.

Caleb grinned and nodded to what she had said. It definately was a good place to escape the outside world, but Cal was sorry to report that he dealt with a good amount of idiots on a daily basis. His grin only widened to see her with the JFK book. He definately knew what she liked, and that was the JFK conspiracy. "Oh great! I heard that was coming in this week.. Did you buy it already? 'Cause, well you know.." He paused to whisper in her ear, "Employee discount," He pulled back with a very adorable smile touching his lips, then finished up the small pile of books that needed returning to their rightful shelf.
Her next question caused his large chocolate hues to flick to the Rolex on his wrist. "'Bout 10 minutes or so," He said doubtfully looking back up at Jill, his eyebrows raised slightly. Something he did out of habit when reading the clock. Caleb turned his attention to her drink, and realized he hadn't had something to drink in a while. He'd have to stop in the cafe to get one of those. He had to hand it to those baristas.. they knew how to make an iced coffee. "Any plans this evening?" Cal asked her curiously as he turned his attention back to her.

Jillian giggled at Caleb's reference to his employee discount. "Thanks, but I pre-paid for it months ago." she replied. "You know me." she added with another light giggle. It was no secret that Jillian was a relative of Ms. Jacqueline Kennedy-Onassis, though be it by blood. It gave her even more reason to read just about anything she could get her hands on about the woman and the JFK era.
"Plans for tonight..." she said, thinking if she had made any prior engagements. Generally, Jillian was a pretty busy person, but most of the time her plans were spontaneous. She rarely planned anything too far in advance. "I'm free as far as I can remember." she replied. "Do you have sometime in mind?" she asked, almost positive that he did. Why else would he ask her if she had any plans? Well, he could've just been making conversation. But that would be some stupid conversation. You discuss your plans with other people with your girlfriend, you ask your girlfriend if she has plans and when she says that she doesn't then you take her out. That's how it's supposed to happen. Everyone knows that.

Cal smiled and nodded, "Ah, of course, I should've known." He said sheepishly, with a boyish grin, scratching tentatively at his right cheek. His hand brushed over the faux hawk he'd gelled this morning, and his smile became an even happier one. As dull as the last hour of working here had been, he was incredibly happy that Jill had decided to show, shining a bright light on aisle 11. Once he'd finished with putting the books away, Caleb glanced at his watch again and grinned. His working hours were over. In other words.. he was free.
With his right hand, he took her free hand and led her away from the aisles of books. "Excellent," Cal said with a handsome smile as he squeezed her hand affectionately, then lifted it to his lips and planted a gentle kiss upon the top. "Because, I've been waiting all week to take my girlfriend out.. but I have a little bit of a dilema, think you can help me out?" He teased stopping and turning to face her.

Jillian was thrilled to hear that Caleb's shift was over. Jobs were so lame....especially part time jobs. However, at least his job wasn't at a lame place. It could be worse. He could work....at the gym or something with all of those big-breasted bimbos prancing around in next to nothing. At least Barnes and Noble was a relatively safe place, if you know what I mean.
"And what is your dilemma?" Jillian asked, humoring Caleb as she held loosely onto his hand as she stopped with him, her face dangerously close to his. Jillian wasn't sure what he was going to do next, but she wasn't terribly fond of PDA; public displays of affection. They were so...desperate. It's equivalent to screaming for attention in her book. It's just not classy at all and everyone knows that through it all, Jillian is a very classy young woman.

Cal lifted his eyebrows and smiled, dropping her hand down from his lips. "Well, so my girlfriend is incredibly classy, and I was thinking I could take her out to dinner at an equally classy restaurant. But- I'm not sure where she'd like to go," He explained, a smile tugging at the corner of his lips, "Any ideas?" Cal asked her curiously, tilting one eyebrow up as he watched her. God, she was beautiful. Though, Caleb was careful with how he acted around her in public. He knew she wasn't one for PDA, and frankly neither was he. Though, he tried to keep his manners in tune at all times.
[Sorry.. losing the muse v_v]

"Hm....let me think about that one for a minute." Jillian replied playfully, touching her index finger to her chin as if in deep thought. She loved having dinner out with Caleb and fancy restaurants. It was incredibly romantic. She especially loved having dessert back at one of their places. That was equally romantic. And anyone who knows Jillian knows how she feels about romance. Loves it.
"How about we head over to Benihanas?" Jillian suggested. Jillian loved Asian food, especially sushi with green tea to drink. It was very classy, which is all important, but it also had a very modern flare. "There is also this girl from my school, Mai, who works there. I'm sure she can get us a great table." she added, getting a bit anxious now. It was easy to make Jillian happy. You just need to take her out.
(OOC: It's alright.)

He smiled down at her, because of their height difference. When she'd finally decided on a place she'd like to eat, Caleb nodded his head agreeing. Benihanas was a favorite of his aswell. "Excellent, choice." He said in agreement, beginning to walk further away from his work, still holding gently onto her hand. "Oooh, nice." Caleb looked over at her with a smile upon his lips. He wanted to give her a romantic evening, just the two of them. Hopefully Mai wouldn't stick around to chat too long.. All he'd wanted all week was just a chance to spend some alone time with Jill.
